LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Here is an excerpt from JCIRA's land acknowledgment, which also includes recognition of the contributions of immigrants and enslaved peoples. "We acknowledge that these waters, mountains, valleys and shorelines are the traditional territory of the S’Klallam and Chemakum peoples.
